Single component Aqueous Polyurethane Paint (PU Paint)

Product Description : STANROSE® PU WALL GUARD (WB) is based on Aliphatic resins and exhibits enhanced resistance to U.V. without cracking, peeling or turning yellow. It is further cross linked and has good resistance to alkalies and mild acids and solvents. It is designed to provide rich, lustrous, very smooth flexible and tough film to provide hygienic surface. STANROSE® PU WALL GUARD(WB) has an extremely low water vapour absorption unlike acrylics and it does not turn soft even under prolonged immersion in water and at the same time has excellent breathability due to reverse osmosis allowing water trapped in the substrate to evaporate. It is single pack, very economical, having excellent water resistance, weathering resistance, extra ordinary adhesiveness, fast drying and very good breathing properties.

Method of Application :
● Surface Preparation : The performance of the coating is very much dependent on the degree of surface preparation. The concrete surface should be thoroughly cleaned to remove all loose particles laitance and old paint, if any. Ensure that wall is protected from ingress of water from other side. The concrete should have undergone full cure of 28 days. The surface should be levelled properly using wall putty to ensure hard and smooth surface. Sand the leveled surface using fine emery paper to smoothness.

● Application of Primer :  It is designed to use specially formulated adhesion promoter primer STANROSE PU WALL GUARD PRIME (WB) for best results.

● Application of Coating : Apply minimum two coats of STANROSE® PU WALL GUARD (WB) on primed surface using roller with inter coat interval of 8 hrs.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTION : Stir the contents of the drum containing the material thoroughly to disperse settled material if any.

COVERAGE : Coverage depends upon the nature of the surface to be applied. But an average, smooth surface will give approx. 80 to 100 sq.ft per coat.

PACKING : STANROSE® PU WALL GUARD(WB) is available in 20 kgs. & 200 kgs. plastic drums.
