Product Description :Staroguard (PU-IWC) is based on Aliphatic resins and exhibits enhanced resistance to U.V. without cracking, peeling or turning yellow. It is further cross linked and has good resistance to alkalies and mild acids and solvents. It is designed to provide rich, lustrous, very smooth flexible and tough film to provide hygienic surface. Staroguard (PU-IWC) has an extremely low water vapour absorption unlike acrylics and it does not turn soft even under prolonged immersion in water and at the same time has excellent breath ability due to reverse osmosis allowing water trapped in the substrate to evaporate. It is single pack, very economical, having excellent water resistance, weathering resistance, extra ordinary adhesiveness, fast drying and very good breathing properties

Uses:
● It forms a very smooth and hard film. ● Good resistance to microbes- Due to incorporation of broad spectrum fungicide, It resists growth of microbes. ● Good resistance to water and cleaning chemicals. ● Unmatched rich and lustrous finish. ● As it is waterborne it is environment and user friendly. ● Elastomeric Film keeps the cracks in the walls covered. ● Very high stain resistance.

Method of use:
● Surface Preparation : The performance of the coating is very much dependent on the degree of surface preparation. The concrete surface should be thoroughly cleaned to remove all loose particles laitance and old paint, if any. Ensure that wall is protected from ingress of water from other side. The concrete should have undergone full cure of 28 days. The surface should be levelled properly using wall putty to ensure hard and smooth surface. Sand the levelled surface using fine emery paper to smoothness.
● 1. PRIMING : Application of Primer : It is designed and specially formulated as an adhesion promoter primer. Use one coat of Staroguard Prime for best results.
2. SPECIAL INSTRUCTION : Stir the contents of the drum containing the material thoroughly to disperse settled material if any. Application should be on properly levelled surface with brush or roller. Always apply 2 to 3 coats of Staroguard PU IWC for a proper finish.
COVERAGE : Coverage depends upon the nature of the surface to be applied. But an average, smooth surface will give approx. 80 to 100 sq.ft per coat.

Shelf life : 12 months in the un-opened container : Hard Dry : 1 hour (Dependent on temperature and humidity)
Fungus Resistance: : Resistant to fungus growth

Application : By roller / brush

Clean up : equipment with water immediately after use.

Storage & Self Life:
The product should be stored in accordance with national regulations. It should be kept in a cool, well ventilated area, away from heat, direct sunlight, sparks and children. It contains inflammable solvents. Handle with care. Mix resin and hardener as per the ratio. Use the mix solution within the pot life time.

Handling & Safety
1. Keep container tightly closed and keep out of reach children or away from food and drink.
2. Ensure good Ventilation during application and drying.
3. When applying paint, it is advisable to wear eye protection.
4. In case of contact with eye, rinse with plenty of water immediately and seek medical advice.
5. Remove splashes from skin by using soap or water.
6. Paint must always be stored in a cool place.
7. When transporting paint, care must be taken. Always keep container in a secure upright position. Dispose off any paint waste in accordance with the appropriate Environment Quality Regulations
