Product Description :two part exterior concrete / masonry protective coating based on aliphatic PU Resin. The applied coating is UV resistant and color fast. It is available in a variety of colour shade with matt finish displaced air from the concrete.

Uses :

 recommended for weather resistant topcoat for concrete in areas like windmills, bridges, structural steel structures, dams, rendering, stone, asbestos cement, etc.
 Used as top coat on epoxy, polyurethane, polyurea layer/ coatings and spray applied PU foam. Can directly applied on concrete floors and walls as sealer and dust free coating.

Precautions :
● Water Barrier coat should not be used if substrate temperature is less than 150C ● For optimum results it is always advisable that sufficient air circulation is provided for ● Ensure complete drying and curing of coating. ● Pre-wet the substrate before commencing application of Water Barrier coat

Method of Application :
Surface Preparation For proper bond roughen the surface by sand paper, clean the dust generated by this process before applying the material. All substrate surfaces should be free from loose particles, oils, grease, etc. The substrate should be structurally sound and dry. Water cleaning is not permissible. For primed or prepared surface with epoxy / PU primer or skim coat, the treated surface should reasonably dry before application of coating. For proper film curing the substrate temperature should be between +5 °C min./+ 40 °C max.

Application Apply Elastothane EPU by spray, roller or brush over a prepared surface. Care should be taken in such a way that mixed material is applied within 60 minutes. The applied area must be protected from rain for 24 hrs. Minimum two coats are recommended. More number of coats can be provided depending on job requirements. First coat should be allowed to air dry for 5-6 hours.

Storage & Self Life:
The product should be stored in accordance with national regulations. It should be kept in a cool, well ventilated area, away from heat, direct sunlight, sparks and children. Handle with care. Mix resin and hardener as per the ratio. Use the mix solution within the pot life time.

Packaging
Available in pre-weighed kits and has a maximum shelf life of 6 months in the un-opened containers.

Handling & Safety
Observe reasonable care and employ ordinary hygienic principles such as washing the hands with soap and water before eating or smoking. It is recommended to wear gloves, goggles and nose masks while application. Incase of splashes on the skin, dampen the cloth with thinner and wipe the hands with the cloth. Wash then with soap and water. Dried film is non toxic.
