Product Description :Specially formulated acrylic copolymer based, anti damp, economy undercoat for interior surfaces. It prevents surface dampness from manifesting itself on top coat and enhances the life of top coat.

Physical Characteristics :

Shelf life: 24 months from date of manufacture in original tightly closed containers. Keep the container away from direct sunlight and excessive heat
Application temperature :Should be above 10 °C

Application Process :
1. Clean the surface to ensure it is free of any dirt and lose particles. Sand the surface with sand paper 180 and wipe it clean.
2. Apply a single coat of Staroguard prime (wp)without dilution, with a forced coverage of not more than 100 sft/L. Allow it to dry for 3-4 hrs.
3. For a smooth finish of topcoat, apply two thin coats of Acrylic Wall Putty. Allow it to dry for 4-6 hrs. Sand with sand paper 180. Wipe clean.
4. Apply a coat of Staroguard (A-1WC) range with 100% dilution or 50% dilution by volume respectively with water. Allow it to dry for 3-4 hours before application of topcoat. .

Instruction :

• Ensure that surface is properly cleaned and free from any loosely held plaster/powder.
• Make sure that moisture content in the surface is not more than 40%.
• Staroguard Prime(WP) is recommended to be applied by brush followed by roller for levelling.
• Do not over spread. Maintain coverage of 100 sq. ft. /lit for best results.
• Do not dilute the product.
• Do not apply when ambient temperature is less than 10°C or if the temperature might drop to this level within 4 hrs of application.
• Do not apply when humidity is greater than 90%. It may cause prolonged drying time of paint and moisture condensation on the walls.
• Staroguard Prime(WP) is not designed for application over excessive dampness (moisture level above 40%).
• Make sure that paint is thoroughly stirred and strained before application.
• Subsequent coats of top coat is to be done as per the recommendation for respective topcoats

Storage & Self Life:
The product should be stored in accordance with national regulations. It should be kept in a cool, well ventilated area, away from heat, direct sunlight, sparks and children. It contains inflammable solvents. Handle with care. Mix resin and hardener as per the ratio. Use the mix solution within the pot life time.

Packaging
available in 20 kgs packs and has a maximum shelf life of 12 months in the un-opened condition

Handling & Safety

•Store the container with the lid tightly closed in an upright position, in a cool, dry place.
• Keep out of reach of children and away from eatables.
