Product Description : Staroxy 102 is a two component solvent free epoxy having excellent bonding to any kind of floors. It has a very fast drying capacity. It is always suggested to use Staroxy 102 before any kind of Epoxy Flooring System. Staroxy 102 is used as a primer for epoxy mortar and coatings, either containing or free of solvents, It can be used as curing compound and concrete sealer.

Where it use :

Staroxy 102 can be used as concrete primer and sealer in :
● Show rooms.
● Under ground car parks.
● Air craft hangers.
● Car service stations.
● Oil, petrol and chemical factories.

Mixing Ratio : 2 parts Base to 1 part Hardener by weight
Coverage : 3-5sq.mtr./kg depending on surface porosity and profile.
Touch Dry : 2 hours at 25 Deg. Cent

Direction of use :
● Surface preparation: The long-term durability of the applied Staroxy 102 is dependent on the adhesive bond achieved between the flooring material and substrate. It is most important therefore, that substrate surfaces are correctly prepared prior to application.
a) New concrete or cementations substrates should have been placed atleast 28 days.
b) Before application, the surface to be coated, should be free from loose particles, rust, oils, grease, or earlier coatings and should be thoroughly dry.
c) After surface is dry, all repair work like sealing of joints, crack filling of cavities and crevices should be carried out.
d) If the surface is Tremix or smooth surface then Shot Blasting is carried out to make the surface rough in order to enhance the bonding of the primer.
Mixing :
● Pack components are pre-weighed for optimum performance. Never split packs.
● Empty contents of Base into a mixing container and pre-mix to assure the suspension of solids.
● Add Curing Agent and continue to mix to a uniform consistency for 1-2 minutes.
● Mix with slow speed drill and helical spinner head for 2 minutes.
● Method of application: Staroxy 102 can be applied by brush , roller, conventional and airless spray equipments.

Application :
● Staroxy 102 must be applied immediately after mixing the two components.
● Staroxy 102 is applied with a paint brush or roller to produce a thin film.

Storage & Shelf Life:
Store all components of Staroxy 102 unopened in shade. Avoid excessive heat. The shelf life is 1 year in original, unopened container
